Song of the Day - February 7 - “Like A Rolling Stone”
Going back in time for today’s song of the day. It’s 1966 and Bob Dylan trades in his acoustic guitar for an electric and performs a song that is said to change the course of popular music. I was fortunate enough to get to watch the documentary “No Direction Home” in class today. This clips shows a fan shouting “Judas” and then Dylan calling him a liar and telling the band to “play it f*cking loud”. I thought it would be a good song of the day, not only for it’s historical significance, but because everyone reads something different from the song and attaches different meaning to it.
